How Skill Practice Works

Choose a focused mode instead of trying to improve every dimension at once.

Choose the relevant skill

Accuracy Builder, Speed Builder, Weak Keys, Difficult Words, Rhythm & Consistency, and Punctuation & Symbols each give a session a specific purpose.

Use the mode as intended

Read the displayed target and the session notice. Some modes use available recent history; others provide a general collection for the selected skill.

Review the right measure

For accuracy, inspect mistakes as well as WPM. For rhythm, look at steadiness. For punctuation, check modifiers and source formatting rather than judging only the total speed.

Transfer the improvement

After a focused session, try a familiar passage containing the same pattern. This checks whether the movement remains reliable outside the drill.

Put the guide into practice

Choose one focus for your next session.
