How to Use Custom Practice
Bring suitable text of your own when you need a particular vocabulary or format.
Choose useful source text
Use text you are permitted to practise with. A short passage containing the vocabulary or punctuation you want to improve is more useful than a large unrelated document.
Check the formatting
Review line breaks, repeated spaces and unusual symbols before starting. If the goal is a particular word pattern, avoid accidental formatting that makes the result hard to interpret.
Keep sensitive material out
Prefer ordinary study text over passwords, private correspondence or personal records. Custom practice should not require exposing confidential information to create a useful exercise.
Compare like with like
Record the duration and type of text when evaluating a result. Your custom passage may be harder or easier than a predefined collection, so compare the conditions as well as the score.
