Left Hand Finger Mapping
Find the left-hand letter and number groups at a glance.
Pinky, ring and middle
The left pinky covers Q, A, Z, 1 and the backtick key. The left ring covers W, S, X and 2. The left middle covers E, D, C and 3.
Index finger range
The left index covers R, F, V, T, G, B, 4 and 5. Return toward F after a reach so the wider group remains organised around a familiar starting position.
Shifted characters
A left-hand capital or shifted symbol uses right Shift in the shared guide. For example, a capital A combines the left pinky character movement with the right-hand Shift key.
Practise meaningful sequences
After checking an isolated key, type a short word or sentence that uses it. This makes the reach part of a sequence instead of an action that works only when you pause before it.

Left-hand characters use Right Shift; right-hand characters use Left Shift. Each Shift key uses its own hand's pinky. Shifted symbols keep the base key's finger assignment.
