Accuracy & Error Calculation
Understand the evaluated text and the separate history of mistakes.
Accuracy is a ratio
Accuracy compares correct evaluated characters with the evaluated character total. In ordinary general passage tests, the result is correct matched characters divided by typed characters, multiplied by 100.
Evaluation depends on the task
Word-mode submissions can evaluate omitted characters as well as typed ones. Exam scoring can align omissions and insertions, apply weights or ignore configured differences. Always read the result in its own context.
Mistake history is different
The shared training window can record mistakes made during the attempt, including errors later corrected. That history is useful feedback but is not always the same as the final incorrect-character count.
Read the labels carefully
Compare accuracy, incorrect characters and recorded errors as separate measures. If you are preparing for an exam, use that exam’s stated error and qualification rules rather than a generic percentage.
