Exam Typing Preparation

Get ready for 20 common English sets or a custom-text test in the same exam typing window.

Choose a common set or your own text

Open Exams and choose one of the 20 common English typing sets. For your own passage, open Custom Exam Typing instead. No organisation or named-exam selection is needed.

Read the common practice rules

All 20 common English sets use the same KeyTute practice benchmark: at least 35 net WPM and 95% accuracy. Choose 20 or 30 minutes. Backspace and corrections are allowed; pause, restart and pasting into the typing area are disabled.

Prepare a custom attempt

Custom Exam Typing lets you paste English text, choose 1-60 minutes, set net-WPM and accuracy targets, and allow or forbid Backspace. It uses the same exam typing window. These are personal practice settings, not official examination rules. Paste at least 20 words and 100 characters, up to 60,000 characters, and read the storage notice before starting.

Start and review the full attempt

The countdown starts when the typing window opens. There is no live WPM or accuracy display. Time end submits the attempt automatically; exiting early leaves it incomplete. Review the completed result against the displayed practice targets, not an official qualification.
