Why Speed Comes After Accuracy
Make acceleration a change in rhythm rather than a change in how often you guess.
Keep the movement reliable
A reliable key sequence gives you something repeatable to accelerate. If the movement changes each time, a faster attempt may simply produce a different set of errors.
Use a stable text difficulty
Keep the vocabulary and punctuation familiar while testing a small increase in pace. Adding difficult words at the same time makes it hard to know what caused a score change.
Check the error pattern
Notice whether mistakes appear everywhere or around one unfamiliar reach. A local problem often needs a local drill rather than a slower version of every passage.
Return to a comfortable pace
Finish the session with a short controlled attempt. The goal is to leave with a repeatable pattern, not to end after a rushed result that you cannot explain.
Put the guide into practice
Choose one focus for your next session.
