Rhythm & Long-Text Endurance
Keep a manageable rhythm across sentences, punctuation and longer passages.
Notice the pauses
A pause may come from reading, finding a key or correcting a mistake. Identify which one is recurring before deciding that the whole session needs to be faster.
Read in small groups
Try reading a short phrase ahead while keeping your source position clear. Do not skip punctuation or word endings just to create a smoother-looking rhythm.
Keep the pace comfortable
A long passage rewards a pace you can sustain. If accuracy begins to drift, return to a controlled rhythm instead of trying to recover time with a burst.
Practise the transitions
Use text containing sentence boundaries, capitals and punctuation. These transitions reveal whether your rhythm works outside a simple sequence of short lowercase words.
Put the guide into practice
Choose one focus for your next session.
